Prices are much lower as supplies are ample on both coasts.
West Coast
- Zucchini and yellow squash harvesting is fully underway in Santa Maria and Fresno, California
- Supplies are abundant
- Overall quality is good
- Expect low prices the next two to three weeks
East Coast
- Production is underway in several new growing regions
- Volume has reached sufficient levels in North Carolina; stocks are ramping up in Ohio, New Jersey, and Michigan
- Expect falling markets and increasing supplies for the next few weeks
