UPDATE: Spring Transition 2020

Iceberg and leafy greens growers will start transitioning production from the Arizona/California desert region north to the Salinas Valley in mid-March. Arizona/California desert harvesting will continue through mid- to late April depending on weather conditions.
- California’s northern growing districts (Huron, Santa Maria, and Salinas) are mainly on schedule; however, some districts are approximately one week behind due to colder-than-normal temperatures
- Cold weather conditions in the Arizona/California desert growing districts have these growing districts behind by one week
- Church Brother’s processing facility will be up and running the week of March 30, while Taylor Farm’s and Misionero’s production will be up and running the week of April 13
