Severe weather conditions continue as a winter low-pressure system eases its way into the Midwest and Northeast; millions continue without power in Texas.

Rotating power outages and road closures persist across the state of Texas
- Most South Texas shippers’ power has returned
- A few sheds continue without power
- Mexican border crossings into South Texas are delayed
- There is currently a backlog of inbounds from Mexico
- Expect limited crossings for the balance of the week

Dangerously icy road conditions across Texas and the Midwest are delaying shipments across the country
- Trucks in South Texas are on standby until conditions improve
- West Coast long haul trucks heading east have been delayed
- Carriers are concerned about the safety of their drivers
- Markon expects shipments to be delayed and trucks to be on stand-by until Friday, February 19, once temperatures warm and road conditions improve
