UPDATE: Seedless Lemons

Markon has three citrus suppliers marketing seedless lemons in 10- and 40-pound packs. This product will be available year-round; however, stocks will be limited from April through August.
Pack Size

10-pound cartons (sold by weight)
- Piece count will range from 36 to 65 lemons per carton
- Size (per carton) will be a mixture of 140- to 235-count fruit

40-pound cartons (sold by weight)
- Piece count will vary from 140 to 235 lemons per carton
- Size will be relatively consistent, with a mixture of 140- to 235-count fruit in packs
Grade
- 10-pound cartons are available in both fancy and combination (35% fancy/65% choice) grade packs
- 40-pound packs will be on the market in both fancy and standard grade boxes, with the bulk of volume in standard grade
Markon FOB
- Prices for 10-pound cartons are typically $1.50 to $3.50 higher than those for conventional 10-pound packs
- Markets for 40-pound packs are usually $3.00 to $5.00 higher than prices for conventional 40-pound boxes
- Prices will be communicated each Thursday prior to the following weeks’ loading
