The red, yellow, and white onion markets remain active in the Northwest. Prices are rising.    

• Several smaller Northwestern onion packers have concluded their production seasons ahead of schedule (prior to the typical April target dates) 
• Extremely limited supplies of Mexican red, yellow, and white onions are being shipped into Texas
• The Texas-grown, fresh-run onion season is behind schedule due to rain and cold weather and will not begin until early April
