Bell pepper prices are rising; overall supplies are extremely limited. Expect active markets heading into May as the Mexican season winds down and California production ramps up.

• Growers in Coachella, California have begun light green bell pepper harvesting; volume will increase over the next two weeks
• The Coachella red bell pepper season is expected to begin May 15, with supplies increasing the following week
• Florida stocks are extremely tight; production will continue through mid-May, then growers will transition to Georgia
• Expect active markets through mid-May as bell pepper growing regions transition on both coasts
