UPDATE: Ready-Set-Serve (RSS) Fresh-Cut Grapefruit Products

Texas Rio Red grapefruits are back in season. Markon’s supplier of fresh-cut grapefruit will begin transitioning into new crop Texas Rio supplies in November. During this transition there may be some variability in the internal color of fresh-cut grapefruit items due to mixed varieties of raw product.
- Expect mild flavor in early season Texas Rios
- Flesh color will be vibrant red
- Color will deepen and flavor will sweeten as the season progresses
- The Texas Rio grapefruit season is expected to run through May
