The Central and Northern California growing regions are forecast to receive periodic rainfall starting Saturday and continuing through Tuesday of next week.  

Salinas/Huron

• Between 0.25” to 1.00” of rain is expected from Saturday evening into the following Tuesday
• Iceberg, green leaf, romaine, and mixed vegetable orders (set to ship) early next week will be packed on Saturday to ensure coverage
• Muddy conditions may cause production delays on Monday and Tuesday

Oxnard/Santa Maria

• Strawberry growing areas are forecast to receive 0.25” to 0.75” of rain starting Sunday and persisting through Tuesday
• Suppliers will pack orders on Saturday and Sunday to cover orders loading Monday and Tuesday and harvest around rain events as the week develops
• Weather-related quality problems can be expected in lots shipping next week, including bruising, decay, mold, and off-color
