Update: Rain in the Florida Growing Regions

Growing regions throughout the state of Florida will receive as much as two inches of rain today and tomorrow, February 23.
- Precipitation will be concentrated in the southern half of the state, including the growing regions of Immokalee, La Belle, Loxahatchee, and Plant City
- Production delays are expected; prices will rise as supplies levels decrease
- Strawberries and squash supplies will be most affected; bell peppers, cabbage, cucumbers, and tomatoes may be impacted also
- Quality issues such as bruising, decay, mildew, and scarring are predicted over the next several days
