Markon First Crop Onions are available in Idaho, Oregon, Utah, and Washington.

• The new crop is dominated by medium and jumbo sizes; colossal and super colossal onions are limited
• Smaller sizes may persist throughout the Northwest season
  • In late January, the Northwest experienced record snowfall, leaving growing areas saturated into April; this delayed planting that typically begins in March
  • At the start of the season, growers were forced to harvest and pack sooner than normal, preventing supplies from reaching full size potential
• Limited quantities of storage onions will be available over the next few weeks; growers will ship exclusively out of storage by early November
