Markon First Crop (MFC) Onions are now available in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. MFC Onions remain available in California and New Mexico.  

California

• MFC Yellow Onions will be available through next week
• MFC Red onions have been depleted
• Quality and supply levels have been affected by extremely high temperatures throughout the entire season

Idaho/Oregon

• MFC Red and Yellow Onions are on the market
• The crop is currently generating more jumbo and medium sizes compared to super and colossal
• Very few white onions are available

New Mexico

• MFC Red and Yellow Onions are expected to be available through the week of August 28
• Recent rains in the New Mexico growing regions have slowed harvesting, drying, and packing
• Yellow supplies are sufficient; however, red and white onions are tight

Washington

• MFC Red and Yellow Onion supplies are ramping up  
• The crop is dominated by medium and jumbo sizes; very few colossal and super colossal sizes are on the market 
• Packer label white onions are available

Utah

• MFC Red and Yellow Onions will be on the market the week of August 28
• Supplies will be dominated by jumbo sizes  
• Washington onions can be transferred for consolidation in Syracuse, Utah
