UPDATE: Limited Honeydew Supplies

Honeydew prices are elevated; supplies are extremely tight, especially small sizes. Expect above-normal prices for up to six more weeks.
- Central America and Mexico are the primary growing regions

Shipments into the U.S. are below-normal due to low yields
- Abnormally cool temperatures in Mexico slowed maturity and decreased sugar levels
- White fly challenges in Central America are causing quality issues
- Small sizes (eight- and nine-count melons) are especially tight; stocks are favoring large sizes (five- and six-count fruit)
- Expect high prices through February; relief is not expected until new crop Mexican fruit begins shipping in March
