The Mexican season is winding down, tightening stocks and increasing prices. Limited domestic California and Washington supplies are entering the market, but volume is not high enough to meet demand.

• Expect tight stocks until May, when harvesting starts in in the Central Mexico
• Quality is good: spears are deep green and tips are tight
• Markets will remain elevated through mid-May
