Markon First Crop and Markon Essentials Limes are available. Rain is forecast over the weekend in the primary growing region of Veracruz, Mexico. Production will slow as rain will affect harvesting. Prices are poised to rise.

• Rain will slow production this week; crossings (from Mexico into South Texas) will tighten
• Quality will be impacted; suppliers will do their best sort through rain-related quality issues such as stylar and oil spotting prior to shipping
• 110- and 150-count sizes are more plentiful; while 175- 200-, and 230-count sizes are tighter
• Expect elevated markets in February and March, which is typical for this time of year
