Limes will be entering a new crop cycle in the next 10-14 days. Cycles are 90-day harvesting periods that begin with smaller, mature fruit and end with larger sizes.

• Small sizes (200- to 230-count fruit) will dominate the market at the beginning of the cycle
• Expect lower prices for small sizes and elevated markets for large sizes until the market stabilizes in mid-September
• Harvesting crews will increase sorting for quality defects that are more prevalent as the cycle ends; heavy sorting will create a strong No. 2 grade supply
