The market for small lemons (140-count and smaller sizes) is rising. Heavy February rain in California’s primary growing regions has increased growth and fruit size, limiting small lemons.

• Markon First Crop and Markon Essentials Lemons are sporadic; packer label is being substituted as needed
• Supplies of 140-count and smaller sizes (all grades) are tightening
• Flexibility on size, grade, and loading locations may be needed for order coverage
• Order lead time is highly encouraged for large quantity orders of 165- and 200-count size fruit
• Expect prices to continue climbing through summer, until offshore and Mexican supplies hit the U.S. market
