UPDATE: Idaho Potatoes - Cold Weather Forecast

Cold weather is expected in Eastern Idaho this week. Temperatures must be above 18 degrees F for potatoes to be hauled from storage cellars to packing sheds without freezing.
- Internal black spotting and bruising can occur when raw product is hauled at sub 18-degrees F
- High winds, drifting snow, and slick pavements are causing highway closures; hazardous road conditions will affect both inbound and outbound trucks
- Below is a weather forecast (in Fahrenheit) for the next week
