Cold weather is expected in Idaho next week. Temperatures must be above 30 degrees F for potato production to proceed without jeopardizing the integrity of the crop. Not enough volume has been harvested for suppliers to utilize their onsite storage stocks. 

• Internal black spotting and bruising can occur when raw product is hauled at low temperatures
• Markon recommends loading heavier this week in order to avoid quality issues
