The iceberg lettuce market is rapidly dropping. Supply exceeds demand.

• Markon First Crop Premium Iceberg remains sporadic; Markon Best Available will be substituted due to low weights
• Harvesting is underway in Huron, California (the San Joaquin Valley), increasing overall market supplies
• Weather in the Salinas Valley has been mainly favorable over the last two weeks, increasing volume in that region
• Expect the market to continue declining over the next several days before stabilizing in the low to mid-20s (through November)
