Hurricane Michael is currently a Category Two storm and strengthening. The storm will impact supplies in Georgia by tomorrow, Wednesday, October 10.

• All inventories will be shipped today in case of power loss
• There will be no harvesting tomorrow
• Production may resume Thursday, October 11, but it’s more likely to resume on Friday, October 12 (pending total rainfall and crop damage)
• Markon recommends moving bell pepper, cucumber, eggplant, and squash orders to South Texas, Arizona, or California
• Demand is shifting west; prices are rising in all areas
