UPDATE: Hurricane Irma

Hurricane Irma, currently a Category 5 hurricane located 65 miles southeast of the Virgin Islands is forecast to reach southern Florida by early Sunday morning.
- Growing regions in Southern Florida, and along the southeast coast of the US may be impacted by storm conditions
- Commodities including bell peppers, cucumbers, squash, and tomatoes are in various stages of planting throughout these regions
- Offshore shipments entering the US through Port Miami will be disrupted or re-routed further up the coast
- Shipper sales offices and operations (including MFC Brand herbs) will begin to shut down this Friday through early next week as staff in Florida prepares for the hurricane conditions
