Hurricane Bud is currently located 300 miles southeast of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and moving northwestward. The storm is expected to weaken to a tropical depression by the time it makes landfall Thursday.

• Bud is expected to bring up to three to six inches of rain with winds in the 45-55 mph range as it reaches the southern region of Baja
• Tomato production in Southern Baja will curtail harvests over the weekend as the storm passes through
• Expect tighter supplies and rising markets on vineripe, roma, grape, and cherry tomatoes by early next week
