With rain falling in the California growing regions, harvesting has been curtailed, even canceled in some instances. Iceberg, green leaf, and romaine prices have crept up as result.  

• Markon First Crop suppliers packed orders over the weekend in anticipation of the rain
• Some suppliers have canceled today’s harvests due to muddy conditions
• Crews are working to minimize dirt/mud in product
