Green leaf, iceberg, and romaine supplies are limited in the Arizona/California desert growing region. Prices are escalating.   

• Abnormally low temperatures continue to slow plant maturity and decrease yields
• Cooler-than-normal weather (70 and below) is forecast through the weekend, further depleting volume for next week  
• Temperatures are expected to return to normal levels by Wednesday, February 27, which should help increase supplies
