Prices for green leaf and romaine continue to rise, while the iceberg market has peaked for the next couple of weeks. Expect limited stocks and elevated markets as we transition from the Salinas Valley to the Yuma, Arizona growing region through November.  

• Markon First Crop Premium Green Leaf, Iceberg, and Romaine are sporadic; Markon Best Available will be substituted as necessary
• High temperatures experienced back in September followed by lower-than-normal temperatures have caused quality problems and reduced yields
• Iceberg supplies from the San Joaquin Valley (Huron, California) growing region will become available the week of October 16
