New crop domestic supplies are slowly ramping up. Ready-Set-Serve (RSS) Peeled Garlic from California will begin shipping in limited quantities this week; packer label Mexican peeled garlic will be substituted as needed.

• 2020 California fresh run supplies will begin shipping in a very light way on Tuesday, July 7
  • New crop harvesting is underway
  • Freshly harvested garlic needs a few weeks to dry out before peeling can take place
  • New crop supplies have a strong odor, slightly more bruising, and slightly more moisture than storage crop
• Stocks of RSS Peeled Garlic will increase the week of July 13 and July 20, with full shipments resuming the week of July 27
