  • Cold, rainy weather has hindered production, stunting growth and reducing yields
  • Quality is fair, affecting shelf-life
• Suppliers are sourcing additional product out of Guatemala’s growing regions to supplement orders, but port delays and lead time are affecting availability
• Stocks are expected to remain extremely limited for the next 10 to 14 days

Guatemala

• The majority of supplies are being sourced offshore and shipping via vessels
  • Arrivals into the U.S. have been sporadic due to COVID-related port delays
  • Some shipments have been delayed up to 10 days reducing quality and shelf-life
• Most suppliers are requiring extended lead time (10-14 days) for order coverage
• Expect very tight inventory for the next two weeks
