Avocado supplies will be extremely limited over the next several weeks. Mexico, the primary growing region, has limited exports into the United States due to a grower strike.

• Most Mexican growers have not packed since late October; harvesting is not expected to resume until Monday, November 12
• Avocado packing sheds are anticipating extremely limited availability for the next few weeks
• Expect very few ripe avocados; packing sheds will be using hard green avocados to fill the shortage
