UPDATE: Cold Temperatures in the Southeast

Colder-than-normal temperatures are expected for the next 10 days in Georgia and Northern Florida. Temperatures will drop into the mid- to upper 40s during the day and low to mid-30s at night.

- Current supplies are sufficient, but lower temperatures will slow growth and delay production
- Prices for bell peppers, cucumbers, and squash will hold steady
- The Georgia cabbage season is ending
- Growers will transition to Northern Florida next week
- Supplies will be limited
- Prices will rise
- Although tomato production will be slow, new crop supplies are expected to be plentiful; the market will continue to drop, but at a slower pace
