UPDATE: Cilantro

October 23, 2019

Supplies are tightening; quality is declining. Expect an active market through November.

  • Higher-than-normal temperatures and strong winds are affecting some of California’s Central Coast growing regions (Santa Maria and Ventura County), increasing the growth of immature leaves that turn yellow/brown, then decay
  • Expect Ready-Set-Serve Washed & Trimmed Cilantro price levels to reach Tier One trigger levels by Monday, October 28
