Supplies are increasing and prices are dropping, but overall cilantro quality remains only fair and shelf-life concerns persist. Effective today, Wednesday, August 29, prices are off contract trigger levels.

• Ready-Set-Serve Washed & Trimmed Cilantro is sporadic due to erratic quality; packer label will be substituted as needed
• Favorable growing conditions are returning to California’s Ventura County and Salinas growing regions. Supplies are increasing, but quality problems due to previous hot, humid weather, are preventing many lots from reaching full shelf-life potential
