UPDATE: Cilantro

July 26, 2017

An abnormally warm and humid weather pattern continues to hover over California and Mexico, creating quality and shelf-life concerns.

  • Ready-Set-Serve Washed & Trimmed Cilantro is sporadic due to erratic quality; packer label will be substituted as needed
  • Yellowing and seeder issues are decreasing yields at the field and processing levels, while decay is being seen in some finished product
  • Weather permitting, harvesting is expected to start back up in Mexico by mid-August; supply levels will return to normal
