Abnormally high temperatures persist in California and Mexico. Hot weather can cause premature breakdown in Ready-Set-Serve (RSS) Cilantro packs.

• RSS Washed & Trimmed Cilantro is sporadic due to erratic quality; packer label will be substituted as needed
• Yellowing is decreasing yields at the field and processing levels, while decay is being seen in some finished product
• Prices are climbing
  • Supplies are limited in Oxnard and the Salinas Valley
  • Mexican acreage will not be available for several weeks
