Markon First Crop Celery is available in Salinas, California. Supplies are limited and prices are increasing.

• High temperatures in the Salinas Valley have decreased yields; increased levels of dry-pith being seen throughout the industry   
• Harvesting in the Oxnard, California growing region will wrap up next week
• Production will not start in Michigan and Eastern Canada until early to mid-July
• We anticipate reaching Ready-Set-Serve value-added trigger levels next week
