New crop Markon First Crop (MFC) Strawberries are available out Salinas/Watsonville. Fruit quality is very good.

• Watsonville is the main growing region for MFC Strawberries at this time   
• Demand remains strong as more growers in the Santa Maria region continue to switch fields to processing, reducing overall supplies
• Markets will remain strong heading into next week
• Warmer weather is on the horizon for the end of next week which is expected to aid growth slightly over the next 10 to 14 days
