California strawberry supplies are increasing. The Santa Maria growing region is moving into peak production, while the Salinas/Watsonville region is ramping up. Warmer weather over the past seven days has promoted color and growth in both areas. 

Santa Maria

• Markon First Crop Strawberries are available
• Supplies are increasing due to favorable weather
• Quality is very good

Salinas/Watsonville

• Harvesting has begun in a limited way
• Stocks are expected to ramp up by mid-May
