Markon First Crop Strawberries are available out of Oxnard and Santa Maria, California.

• New crop Salinas/Watsonville supplies are slowly ramping up
  • Rainy weather in early April has decreased the maturity of the crop
  • Markon will begin loading limited volume in Watsonville early next week, with ample supplies by mid- to late May
• The Oxnard season is past peak production
• Quality is very good
• Supplies are winding down quickly
• Quality is very good in Oxnard and Santa Maria
• Overall stocks are ample
• Prices are steady
• Santa Maria stocks are increasing
