The San Joaquin Valley (California’s primary citrus growing region) will receive a series of rain events, which started yesterday, March 12, and continue through through Saturday, March 17. As a result of the rain, some growers have had to cancel harvesting due to muddy conditions and wet fruit.

• Markon First Crop and Markon Essentials Lemons and Oranges are sporadic due to rain; packer label will be substituted as needed
• Orange supplies are extremely limited, especially 88-count and smaller sizes
• Prices will remain elevated
• Flexibility in size and grade may be needed for order coverage
• Order lead-time is encouraged to help fully fill orders
