The San Joaquin Valley (California’s primary citrus growing region) has received a series of rain events that started early this morning and are expected to last through Tuesday afternoon. As a result, growers have cancelled harvesting today and tomorrow due to muddy conditions and wet fruit. Production is expected to resume by Thursday morning.

• Markon First Crop and Markon Essentials Lemons and Oranges are sporadic; packer label will be substituted as needed
• Expect supplies to become extremely limited by the end of the week
• Prices will remain elevated
• Flexibility in size and grade may be needed for order coverage
• Order lead-time is encouraged to help fully fill orders
