Recent rainfall in California’s San Joaquin Valley growing region slowed citrus harvesting this week due to muddy conditions and wet fruit. More rain is in the forecast over the weekend and into next week. Growers must allow groves and fruit to dry before harvesting once rainfall subsides. Supplies are expected to tighten next week as a result of the harvesting delays; order lead time is encouraged. The market will rise over the next 7 to 10 days.
