The Brussels sprout market has reached first-level triggers for all Ready-Set-Serve (RSS) items. Effective Monday, September 4, prices for the below items will increase accordingly. Second-tier triggers will likely be met by Wednesday, September 6.

• RSS Brussels Sprouts and RSS Brussels Sprout Halves are limited due to industry-wide shortages
• California’s Central Coast production is light due to warmer-than-normal weather and increased levels of insect pressure; yields are low  
• Supplies are expected to remain limited through next month   
• Prices should start declining in mid-September
