UPDATE: Broccoli and Cauliflower
April 27, 2018
The Salinas Valley is experiencing consecutive days of temperatures in the low to mid-60s. The combination of recent cooler weather combined with higher-than-normal temperatures at the start of the month is expected to disrupt steady production and cause prices to rise. Expect cauliflower supplies to tighten as early as next week and broccoli to follow suit the following week.
