Broccoli prices are rising in the Arizona and California growing regions; supplies are tightening.

• Erratic weather conditions have slowed growth and affected quality, reducing yields; pin rot, mildew, and decay may be present in finished broccoli packs
• Mexican supplies (into South Texas) are adequate; markets are slightly lower
• Expect elevated prices and limited supplies through the month
