Bell pepper prices are escalating; supplies are limited. Strong retail demand across the U.S. and rain in Mexico this week are pushing up prices. Expect elevated markets in all growing regions for the next two to three weeks.

Arizona/Texas

• New crop stocks from Sonora and Northern Sinaloa, Mexico are on the market
  • Warm weather will increase production starting Friday, March 20
  • Prices are higher in South Texas; volume is below normal
• Both green and colored bell pepper supplies are limited; prices are rising

Florida

• Florida volume is low; demand exceeds supply
• Warm weather will continue to help aid growth through the end of next week
