Green bell pepper supplies are ample; prices continue to ease. Red bell pepper markets are higher.

• Green bell prices are much lower; supplies are abundant
  • Stocks are plentiful in all growing regions, including California, Canada, and Michigan
  • Low prices are expected the next two to three weeks
• Red bell markets remain elevated; supplies are extremely limited
• California production is transitioning to northern and coastal growing regions; supplies are expected to ramp up the next one to two weeks
• East Coast and Mexican harvesting is below normal levels; the West Coast is the primary growing region at this time of year
• Expect elevated prices through late August or until supplies increase
