Mexican asparagus supplies are limited, causing prices to rise. Several consecutive days of rain in Central Mexico’s growing regions have reduced availability. Limited Peruvian stocks are helping to meet demand.

• The California, Michigan, and Washington seasons are finished, shifting more demand to Mexico
• Quality is good: spears are deep green and tips are tight
