Markon First Crop Cantaloupes and Honeydews are limited. Cantaloupe supplies have tightened, pushing prices higher. Honeydew volume is forecast to dip next week.

• Cantaloupe supplies from California’s San Joaquin Valley are limited due to weather challenges early in the season
• Honeydew stocks are adequate, but prices are expected to inch up next week
• Overall quality is good; shelf-life is normal with few issues being reported
• Prices will ease by late September before the crop transitions to the Arizona/California desert growing region in mid-October
