- Although volume levels are expected to be reached ahead of schedule, supplies remain relatively limited
- Quality is very good
- Berry color is deep red
- Flavor is sweet
- Size is large
- Texture is firm
- Sporadic green tips and wind damage are problems
- Santa Maria, California has higher volume and similar quality at this time, but more orders will be moved to the Salinas/Watsonville area by mid-May
