• Markon orders have been packed in advance to avoid delays or shortages
• This is the first rain event of the desert growing season that has seen an overall mild climate compared to the past several years
• More rain is forecast for Saturday, January 23 and Sunday, January 24, followed by freezing temperatures early next week
• Markon inspectors will be monitoring supplies for quality and/or shelf-life concerns following the current weather challenges
