• Last February’s freezing temperatures caused quality challenges in the Arizona/California desert growing region that were difficult to reduce or eliminate
• The attached quality alert flyers were distributed in select Ready-Set-Serve (RSS) cases to communicate the industry-wide problems
  • Romaine quality has improved significantly over the past several days
  • The flyers will now be removed from all RSS items
• Markon inspectors continue to monitor quality and will update as needed
